Instant-view® Lateral Flow Test
Lateral flow assays have provided a very useful tool for three decades. Use of the technology is widespread and has proven an inexpensive way to screen, qualitatively and semi-quantitatively, in point-of-care environments. Lateral flow tests are used for medical diagnostics and detect the presence or absence of a target analyte in a sample matrix without the need for additional specialized and expensive medical equipment. The tests are utilized either for at-home-testing, point-of-care testing, or in clinical laboratories, depending on the tests regulatory clearances.
Throughout over 20-year history, ALFA has fine-tuned our manufacturing capabilities to a level that ensures the highest quality of lateral flow test output. All products are produced in the USA. ALFA's Instant-view™ lateral flow tests stand for quality our customers have come to rely on and trust.

What is cocaine?
Cocaine is a type of a stimulant drug that was derived from leaves of the coca plant, which is mostly found in Central and South America. The leaves undergo several chemical processes in order to manufacture the cocaine drug.
How long is cocaine detected in the body?
Cocaine and crack are both metabolized quickly and leave the body (urine) within 2 to 4 days after being used.
What is cocaine used for?
When smoked or injected, cocaine produces a rapid and intense high and gives users a lot of energy very quickly. It is often described as a “rush” because of how fast the euphoria kicks in. When snorted, the high of cocaine is less intense because it takes a little longer to build up in the brain.
What are the forms of cocaine?
Cocaine is traditionally found in a fine white powder. Crack is also a form of cocaine, and is a rock-like form of the cocaine base.
How is cocaine consumed?
Cocaine is snorted, though some people dissolve the powder into water inject it into the veins. Crack, on the other hand, is usually smoked, and is sometimes used with other substances, such as marijuana or tobacco. Some people combine cocaine with an opioid, like heroin. This is known as “speedballing.”
What are the effects of cocaine?
People using cocaine may feel very alert and excited, but it can also cause irritation, paranoia and anxiety. After the high feeling has passed, people tend to feel a physical and emotional crash, which is characterized by exhaustion and depression.
What are the street names for cocaine?
Cocaine is also known as:
- Coca
- Coke
- Crack
- Flake
- Snow
- Soda cot
